?? Key Responsibilities
?? Accounting Operations & Close
- Oversee all general ledger and accounting practices, including inventory, fixed assets, and payroll allocations
- Manage monthly close processes: reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
- Complete accurate and timely bank reconciliations for all checking accounts
?? Financial Management & Reporting
- Manage accounting, costing, budgeting, cash management, and financial reporting
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Prepare supporting schedules for income tax reporting
?? Analysis, Budgeting & Strategy
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Conduct advanced financial analysis to interpret trends and budget variances
- Provide recommendations consistent with established financial policy
?? Fixed Assets & Capitalization
- Direct maintenance of fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Establish and enforce proper capitalization and expensing methods by asset class
?? Compliance & Controls
- Ensure accounting records comply with GAAP and all ledgers reconcile
- Support audits and maintain strong internal controls
?? What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree (4-year minimum) - REQUIRED
- Proven experience in accounting or related finance roles
- Strong understanding of:
- Financial markets and corporate banking
- Payroll, AP, AR
- Federal tax and reporting regulations
- Financial data analysis and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business language
- Strong project management, organization, and deadline discipline
